That Leigh side is good

I thought saints were unlucky in the end, good game to watch and wigan if they win will get the benefit , a good chance v leigh but could not see them beating saints with a full team.

Leigh have done very well recently, I know they have some young guns in the pack some with more experience than others, they will improve in superleague now they are settling down and they have a good owner who will get some more players if needed, I was proud to see them battle with saints today Leigh gave it their all and it paid off, well done lads.

Bet it's lively in the pubs in notreet land

Most definitely, they will be bladdered for a week I used to work on security at the old Hilton park and I can tell you they have their fair share of not reets.

After watching the fantastic LEIGH LEOPARDS dismantle the saints all i have to say is " VERY WELL DONE A SUPERB EFFORT AND REWARDED WITH A FINAL AT WEMBLEY YOU DESERVED IT GREAT FOR THE TOWN" I just hope now WIGAN can clinch yet another final under the towers of WEMBLEE !!! come on you WARRIORS !!!G.B.

Maybe I am being bitter, because of yesterdays defeat, but before yoo all get behind Leigh in the final, may I bitterly remind you that Leigh people hate Wiganers with a passion, and not only do they not get behind Wigan, at the umpteen times Wigan has played at Wembley, they get behind the team who Wigan is playing against, and are over the moon if Wigan is defeated.

Agree fully with the last 2 posts I worked at the tractor works in Leigh for 11 years and worked in the pubs for the last 10 years they hate us Come on HKR.

Both clubs have their element of still living in the days of the 1926 General Strike!

I have worked with people from both Wigan and Leigh over the years and encountered both banter and hate from supporters of both clubs.

Peawapp has just sobered up after the adventures of Saturday last at the Halliwell Jones , I can tell you that the Leigh defence was absolutely brilliant throughout the match and they thoroughly deserved their victory , a very nervous last minute or two but was always confident, the Saints boss Wellens has been moaning about our Captain the best loose forward in Super League John Asiata , , sour grapes from Wellens who is on borrowed time as the boss there , He’ll be gone shortly I would imagine , I am now prepped up for the big day , got my ticket , got my coach ticket and waiting patiently for the big day , now to set Tommy two stroke straight the Leythers don’t hate Wigan , whenever I am abroad and someone says “where are you from” I aways say Wigan , I have many family and Friends in or from Wigan , if Wigan are playing Saints or a Yorkshire team on the Telly I am a pie eater for the day , I admire the Wigan M P , and I think that the Wigan M B C is a superb Council , it’s just banter , nothing more , who was it said that we wouldn’t have beaten a full team , we already have this season in the 10th of march , Leigh were without Kia O’ Donnell , Ricky Leutele , and Joe Wardle , Wellens said bugger all about Matautia nearly taken Reynold’s head off , He’s a moaner , I was supporting Wigan against the Robins and Shorrocks was badly done to I reckon , anyroadup , that’s my view TTS is incorrect in His statement that Leythers hate Wiganers we don’t , up the Leopards .

Peawapp will more than likely think the same as me that some of the Leigh team were already down at Wembley!

Yesterday was a game that Leigh could have done without in the short period between a Semi Final and a Final, especially when Wigan were out to prove that they were should have won against the team that Leigh will be playing in the final.

The question is, will Wigan play the same way as they did yesterday next Friday went they play the other Wembley finalists Hull KR at the DW?
